What does Journalism International stand for and who is behind it?

INVESTIGATIVE
The world is shaped by media and modern by cross-media. What is shown in the media depends on a few factors. What is certain, however, is that political influence and the economic perspective on KPIs have a strong impact in the form of a Boulervardization of the news.
JI is not a "gossip medium", but a unique brand that reflects true journalism and presents raw, international events from a neutral perspective.

AUTHENTIC
The years of Boulervardization, the stigmatized selection of the media and the backward foreign reporting have a demonstrable impact on the recipients' worldview. A dichotomy of “good” and “bad” culture or “good” and “bad” country has emerged, which reflects the association of certain countries and cultures with certain events. JI stands for more reporting, apart from exclusively war, uprising or catastrophe events, and also the investigative presentation of cultural events that would increase intercultural understanding.

PASSIONATE
True, authentic, investigative stories reflect the true identity of cultures. They contain emotions and provide the recipient with a unique insight behind the facade. JI means passion for intercultural authenticity.

Only those who deal intensively with the personalities behind the stories understand and can serve as an unadorning mouthpiece. JI is the bridge between international cultures, religions, genders and nations.

B.A. JOURNALISMS STUDENT
Intercultural and authentic not only reflects the idea behind JI, but also my character.
Born with Russian roots, growing up with multicultural friends and already as a child having the goal of one day working as a journalist abroad in mind, I was once considered dreamy, but I knew early on where I wanted to travel.
However, in life everything turns out differently than expected!
So after finishing school, I was recommended for a conventional path: a classic office clerk apprenticeship in e-commerce.
However, I don't regret this path in retrospect and I don't believe in wasting time either. All of these experiences in business, from international sales, international project management in marketing and the media industry or even in the sports industry through my fitness economics studies, not only gave me a lot of important specialist knowledge and personal growth, but also exposed me to a lot of great, unique personalities get to know.
Experiences that I can and will take with me to my studies and my future career.
In September 2023 I “finally” decided to quit a well-paid, secure hamster wheel job and decide on my dream.
I enrolled as a student in the B.A. course. Journalism at the International University and look forward to everything that comes next.
