Tear-moving article - Stern brings the facts to the point

Israel - Thousands of stories of horror, images of desecrated bodies and corpses or videos of frightened children or executions spread on social networks. From now on, October 7th, 2023 will probably remain a historical thorn in the side of everyone worldwide.

Since the Arab-Israeli war in 1948, unimaginably high numbers of victims have not been generated on this scale for decades. There are currently more than 1,200 deaths and more than 5,763 injuries in Israel. (As of October 12, 2023, 9:30 a.m.)

An attack that no one expected

People all over the world are moved. The Israel-Hamas conflict is epochal and humanly catastrophic, of unimaginable proportions.

A crime in which the survivors will never be psychologically the same again.

But nations also face a challenge on an intercontinental level. The current situation also affects the USA's further actions in the Ukraine conflict or, for Joe Biden's re-election next year, in the planned upcoming peace agreements between Saudi Arabia and Israel.

When I read the article, tears come to my eyes. The star team Dr. Gregor Peter Schmitz, Steffi Hentschke, Marina Klimchuk and Steffen Gassel have once again brought the facts to the point in a goal-oriented manner.

The October issue of Stern should be a wake-up call to everyone that the unexpected could happen at any time. Life should be lived and people who need help should be helped.
